We are currently recruiting an interim probation officer on behalf of a North London borough. Duties and responsibities include 1.Obtain verify record store and maintain information using the available technology. 2.Assess offence and offending behaviour in the light of all the circumstances using the required assessment framework. 3.Frame potential responses for the supervision of or contact with offenders. 4.Exchange information with staff within the Service other agencies defendants offenders and others. 5.Prepare and produce reports and other documentation. 6.Undertake court duty in accordance with the Lpa Court Work Handbook. 7.Draw up supervision plans and programmes of intervention. 8.Manage the supervision of offenders in the community according to effective practice principles and to National Standards including the enforcement of compliance with orders and licences. 9.Address offending behaviour and the risk of re-offending. 10.Provide practical support and assistance to prisoners their families and others. 11.Establish maintain and enhance effective working relationships with colleagues Partnerships and Prison staff.
